MILLENNIUM TECHNOLOGY AWARDS ANNOUNCED

The Program

Contact North/Contact Nord’s Wired for Learning: Technology Working in the Classroom Millennium Awards Program, offered jointly with its corporate partners Bell Canada, IBM Canada Ltd. and ADCOM, spotlights innovative activities in Ontario classrooms that effectively use technology in teaching and learning environments.

An important component of Contact North/Contact Nord's Centre of Distance Education for Secondary School's Wired for Learning: Technology in the Classroom program, these annual awards of excellence have been established to

  • promote the effective integration of technology in curriculum and classroom activities
  • recognize outstanding Ontario educators for their contributions to integrating technology into effective learning environments.

The Awards and Winners
