e-Learning Platform at Contact North/Contact Nord

North/Contact Nord, Northern Ontario’s Distance
Education & Training Network, has officially launched
its new, leading edge e-learning technology platform at a
special ceremony in Sudbury on Monday, August 9, 2004, at
1:00 p.m. The launch took place at Contact North/Contact
Nord’s Northeast Regional Coordinating Centre at 410
Falconbridge Road, Sudbury.

Chair of Management Board's Advisory Council on e-Government
in Ontario

Jean-Louis, President and Chief Executive Officer of Contact North/Contact
Nord, has been appointed by the Honourable David Tsubouchi to the Management
Board’s Advisory Council on e-Government. The
Advisory Council on e-Government will look at transforming all aspects of the
government’s business through the effective use of Information and Information
Technology (I&IT). The goal is to make Ontario even more attractive as a
place to live, work, learn, visit and do business.
